This light is very bright. It's a lot better than any other small reading light you will find and although it looks huge your eyes will thank you for the even, flicker-free light. The 6000 lumen output is close to sunlight, which is great when you're painting on the fly or making art. It directs the light precisely to the project so you can see the colors clearly. It is also great for cleaning or painting stains. Anywhere you need bright, constant light. This isn't a small light, it's heavy and the clip is industrial. It's designed to be attached to furniture and maybe even a shelf, but you'll find a way to use it. It also works well as lighting for scene photography and I'll start taking photos for Revain reviews. Didn't want to try this as I hadn't heard of these lamps before, but I wasn't disappointed. If they ever make a stronger one, I'll buy that too. I would unreservedly recommend this product!
