Bought to replace Cuisinart hand blender. It's definitely more powerful and does a good job. But the previous blender had a single button to release the blade from the handle, so I could hold it over the sink and use a finger to dislodge the messy wand. using one hand and the other to pull out the end of the blade - it doesn't just release with a push of a button, you still have to detach it from the handle with your other hand. - Use a gadget that allows you to look at another brand. Blade release bothers me every morning when I'm making my protein shake!
