The mixer was broken. There was a squeak after 5 from work. The description of the blender sounded pretty impressive, but give it a try, the real blender looked cheap. I have returned the item. I bought Brown instead. Doesn't matter! Much better quality.

Bought this blender based on positive reviews and 24 month warranty (registration required). After several attempts I could not figure out how to register. Although the website link says Koios, it has nothing to do with a blender or kitchen utensil. I emailed support but didn't get a reply - two weeks or more. On the other hand, the blender worked well for several jobs before I returned it.

This is a replacement for an 18 year old hand mixer that died on me last weekend. It arrived today and was used immediately. It has been used to make smoothies for lunch and to mix cornmeal into cornbread. The Koios Immersion 4-in-1 Hand Blender was absolutely effective in making both products. I was impressed by how quiet and light the Koios is. It also blends much faster than my old hand blender. It is definitely worth its price.
