I really wanted to like it because I've wanted a hand blender for a long time. After reading the reviews I decided to stay with this one. I'm sorry for what I did. The first thing I tried was a smoothie and it took ages and not everything went smoothly. I thought it would be nice if it had 12 speeds, but it only seems to work when it's at max speed and I hold the turbo button. I've also tried making ayran, which is just yogurt and water. I even struggled with that. Then I tried it in my bean puree. It took so long it wasn't worth the headache. It would take me less time to toss it in my regular blender and clean out the blender. All other speeds are useless. I didn't even try the attachments because I was very disappointed with the blender itself. It's easy to clean if rinsed off right away, but due to the design, it's almost impossible to fully insert the sponge without soiling the sponge or fingers to remove the residue. I never left anything there, I clean it right after I'm done. Other people said everything worked there, but maybe mine is defective. What other reviewers have said is true, you can only make one smoothie at a time in the cup he gives you and since it takes so long no one has time to make multiple smoothies. I went back to using my regular blender because it's much faster and can make more than one smoothie at a time.
