This is the fourth shaker I've bought while searching for the perfect shaker. This is by far the best I've tried. This is an honest review and I was not paid or compensated for writing it. I sincerely want this company to be successful and make more products. Here's what I like: 1) Dimensions - the measuring cap is very large, which allows you to measure different amounts of liquid. It seems like a simple thing, but when you need 4 ounces of something, you often have to water twice. With this extra large lid, you only need to pour once. The actual locations on the lid that you need to measure aren't very intuitive, but they include a cute little stand that shows you exactly where all the measurements are. So if you ever forget it, you can just refer to it. 2) Screw it together - I don't know why nobody else has made a screw on shaker, it's clearly the best design. Screw in quickly and easily and prevent any leakage. It also allows you not to strain your hand on the lid when shaking. It seems like a simple thing, but it makes cocktail making so much easier. It also allowed me to mix drinks better. I love making whiskey sours with egg whites. Without worrying about the lid coming off, you can shake and make very well blended and fluffy protein smoothies. This shaker not only makes cocktails easier, but also better. 3) Strainer - It's built right into the lid and makes pouring drinks easy. The screen cover has a sharp edge to prevent dripping. 4) Washing Machine - I don't like hand washing and the pads on this shaker are easy to remove for dishwashing. They say it can be washed in the dishwasher, but this can increase wear and tear on the shaker. If I just hand wash the pads I don't think extra wear will be an issue as it's almost all stainless steel (small mat on the bottom). The only thing I don't like about this cocktail shaker is the metal on metal feel when it's screwed together. The lids are also not perfectly centered due to the large thread pattern and gaskets. At first I thought it was a bug in my shaker, but it's actually for the better. The thread is deliberately oversized so you don't have to spend a lot of time unscrewing and removing the cap. A quick twist is enough to close and open the shaker. All in all, this article is amazing. I would absolutely and without a doubt buy it again and recommend it to all my friends.
