Promising. I wasn't sure I would be in enough pain to really check it out when the time came. Thought it might be a while. But I was able to try when my legs felt very heavy and sore from venous insufficiency (as well as additional physical activity). I don't always feel anything, but on some very hot and humid days my feet feel weird. Pain in the knees and ankles, heaviness in the legs, extra swelling, anxiety, etc. I have no problem taking ibuprofen as needed, but most of the time I just make a "supplement cocktailβ and I'm good to go. I was about to get some concentrated tart cherry juice and turmeric when I remembered to try this remedy from Dr. try relief. I remembered that cherry extract was on the ingredient list and upon closer inspection it also contained turmeric. Cool - there are quite a few ingredients that my body reacts to. Other items on the list I'm not familiar with (you can see the ingredients in their product image). The smell and taste of the powder is definitely cherry. There is a kind of acrid pungent smell, most likely the general formula, but also citric acid. Says to add it to 4-8 ounces of water (or you can put it under your tongue - I'm not sure I ever will since it comes in a sachet with about a tablespoon of powder). The shaker is really optional, but it's a nice addition. I just shook it in a cup without it. I used lots of water (why not?) and loaded it with ice. It was quite refreshing and pleasant to drink on a hot and humid day. I love the mug - it's high quality and feels nice. I just drank it and didn't think about how I felt until it dawned on me that my legs feel a lot better. It was a noticeable change. Thus, any feeling I felt from increased inflammation was greatly reduced in a short period of time. Still felt better the next day. Maybe it was a coincidence, but I'm convinced. I really think it depends on your body chemistry and how it reacts to different ingredients and formulas. I'm someone who often finds a small amount of ibuprofen too much. Additionally, there are those who struggle with prescription pain medications that don't work for them. I tend to respond well to simple supplements, so in that sense I'm not surprised that this is working for me. I love that they have a small pack to try, but they have a larger batch (not a cup) for those who really like it and want to keep going. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08WRPBN6M The only downside is that it does contain caffeine - 110mg per pack - not that it's inherently bad, but it does limit if it can be used if you sensitive to caffeine. For me it's a fantastic way to start the day, but I won't drink it in the evening when I probably need it the most. In any case, I say promising, because so far I have not used it more than once.
