Review on πŸ› Kingston Brass DTT5302A0 Match Touch-Toe Tub Drain Kit in Stylish Matte Black Finish: A Must-have for Effortless Drain Control! by Rusty Heredia

Get some putty and maybe some washers

Make sure you apply a little putty liberally to the washer and drain threads (and order the right size as it's 1-1/4 and 1 -1/2 returns are the two most common sizes). I neglected this step the first time I installed it and found that without putty or tape it would actually leak (which you won't see unless you have access to the bottom of your tub like I do - and this is advice more for novice installers - self-taught, not experienced homeowners). This includes a plastic "enlarger" that can screw in smaller threads, so two in one. I wish they offered a kit that included a 2 hole overflow drain but it includes an adapter to make it work. The adapter is a little short in width, so it's best to use a couple of metal washers to ensure proper fixation, otherwise it may slip left or right. Good quality overall but note that if you are ordering the entire Oil Rubbed Bronze set for your bath/shower the Moentral/Delta 'plastic' shower tray/handle set is noticeably lighter than the metal parts but overall it's a good, quality replacement for those who don't want to spend hundreds of dollars on Moen/Delta products.

Cons
