Very poor quality and looks cheap. By simply screwing in the center screw, the black coating came off without much effort. The package does not include the 2 screws required for assembly, so be prepared to provide your own. The rest of the installation was easy. Looks good from a distance but definitely won't stand the test, time or use. I would look elsewhere.

Replaced our main bath drain with this to match the finish. Our first package contained only one piece. Both were there for the second. After about a month, the entire black border was worn away (in places where it wasn't even touched). I'm not sure why something designed for the bathroom isn't more waterproof. It's like it's just painted black and will flake off immediately. I would recommend spending a little more so you don't have to replace it after a month.

Bought a polished nickel drain set. Presumably to make this more versatile (perhaps metric and US sizes), the solid metal drain is fitted with a cheap nylon thread seal (jacket) so it can be used for two sizes of pipe. IT'S THE STRIPES! I made sure the threads weren't crossed over, but when I tightened to compress the rubber seal, it ripped off the nylon sleeve and spun freely in the drain, no guarantee it wouldn't leak. Make sure you apply a little putty liberally to the washer and drain threads (and order the right size as it's 1-1/4 and 1 -1/2 returns are the two most common sizes). I neglected this step the first time I installed it and found that without putty or tape it would actually leak (which you won't see unless you have access to the bottom of your tub like I do - and this is advice more for novice installers - self-taught, not experienced homeowners).
