My wife bought this as an emergency measure - the neighbor's dog and my 2 year old love jumping over the 5ft HOA fence at each other. Not aggressive, but the way 2 men can breastfeed in a corridor. Last week our larger, heavier dog slashed the face of the neighbor's dog which we paid for emergency repairs. This led to a promise from said neighbor that if my dog started hitting the fence again, they would sue. This perimeter was installed on November 15 and is working well. The dog spirit is confused, but my neighbor is peaceful. Until the battery died this morning and he walked out of the white flag area and barked at his "friend" to come out. A whopping 5 days in action and he only wears the collar outside. An estimate of 1-2 months is an insult. How long has it been in stock on the shelf? I've been meaning to reorder right after Christmas, but I have to increase it by a week and keep the dog on a leash every time. Hope the new package lasts longer than 5 days each. Still cheaper than going to court and luckily the neighbor's dog is in it this time. Give a real estimate of battery life, or better yet for $285 how about popping in a second one so the owner can breathe before buying another. BUY MORE BATTERIES WITH THE KIT OR EXPECT MORE USE.
