I am using this to control an upgraded 24v spindle motor on a desktop CNC machine (3018) that requires more current than the controller can supply. The display, forward/off/reverse switch and speed control all dangled freely so a plate was 3D printed to accommodate them and bolted to the case using the existing mounting holes. I just added an update. I disabled the forward/reverse/reverse switch and instead connected a relay to control forward or reverse movement. He doesn't need reverse gear. The relay coil is controlled by the original 24V spindle output of the CNC control. The NC program can thus switch the spindle on and off, although the speed is still set manually.
