Description of Controller DC10 55V Forward Brake Reverse Adjustable Potentiometer

【Regulate Range】 Input supply voltage: DC 10V-55V; Maximum current: 60A; Continuous current: 40A; Speed range: 0-100% ; Control frequency: 15KHZ. 【Switch Function】The PWM DC motor speed controller come with switch function. High power speed controller switch which is much more adaptable and conveniently change the motor direction. 【Excellent Heat Dissipation Performance】 The enclosure of the speed controller for motor is an aluminum enclosure. Aluminum shell is very strong to prevent damage, holes on its side and top which are helpful for heat dissipation. 【Easy to Operate】The stepless motor controller has a simple potentiometer knob adjusts the motor speed from 0% ~ 100% smoothly. And with LED display is accurate to show 0 ~ 100% of the motor speed. The input voltage of PWM motor speed controller should be equal to the rated voltage of the motor within 10-55V,or it will be burnt. 【Application】 The dc motor driver can be used to brush motor speed regulation, light dimming regulation in the DC circuit.Note: The motor cannot be used in electric vehicles.

Engine Speed Controller

This controller came as a surprise to me. The controls included a forward/reverse switch with a center off position, a potentiometer to control motor speed, and an LED display. I wasn't sure what the LED would indicate as it wasn't connected to any feedback from the motor shaft. It appears that the display shows the percentage of drive to the motor. It's an electrical number and doesn't actually indicate the RPM of the engine. Zero percent on the display means the motor is off, 100% means the…

Front Panel 3D Printed

I am using this to control an upgraded 24v spindle motor on a desktop CNC machine (3018) that requires more current than the controller can supply. The display, forward/off/reverse switch and speed control all dangled freely so a plate was 3D printed to accommodate them and bolted to the case using the existing mounting holes. I just added an update. I disabled the forward/reverse/reverse switch and instead connected a relay to control forward or reverse movement. He doesn't need reverse gear…

Cheap junk on motor speed controllers

I was very proud of how my trolling motor controller turned out. I tried it on the bench and everything was fine, forward and reverse, and the cruise control worked well. I took my new boat to try out on the lake and as soon as I turned on the controller the motor spun forward relatively slowly. The potentiometer didn't slow it down or turn it off, and the toggle switch didn't do anything. I heard a pop and turned it off. When I got home I smelled burning and saw where two solder traces on the…
