Good as a body pillow. The cooling gel has become an advantage for me. It's not as fluffy as in the picture (about half). It's more of a large king size pillow than a body pillow. BUT cooling gel is perfect for hot flashes! And it stays really cool! According to the instructions, it should stand 12 hours before use and air out so that it fluffs up. You'll need to pull the cushion fabric out of the pieces of foam to help it out a bit. The gel is in a case with a zipper. It has an odor, but it's the same as any foam pillow. It's great for the price. I bought a king size gel cooling pad for twice the price. I wish it was longer and fluffier, but it's perfect for menopausal hot flashes! I would buy it again.
