I'm not the type to write reviews but I've had it too. I recently fractured my wrist and needed elbow surgery. Recovery from 3 to 6 months. I wanted something on my lap so I could use my iPad, sit on my phone so I could FaceTime my family, or just talk on the phone without having to hold it in my hands. Reading a book is really nice, keeping the book open to you. There are a couple of small pockets on the back where I keep my headphones etc. When I'm not using them I put my iPad on top and my phone next to it on the side table for easy access. I received it the day before my surgery and used it immediately to have something to hand. In case you haven't noticed, I love this product, it works for me.
