This remote does exactly what it says on the tin. Controls your Roku. It's very cheaply made, it's too light, it slips out of your hands, and you have to point this replacement remote "STRAIGHT" at your Roku. This is far from the true quality of the Roku remote. I bought it to replace my Roku 3 and it's ok. This remote is slow, you have to press all the buttons very hard to get a response from your Roku device. If you want something better than "low budget" don't buy this junk. A reminder of something to be sold at the "Gas Station" for $3 - buyer beware.
