📱 Gvirtue Replacement Remote Control for Roku 1-4: HD/LT/XS/XD/Express - 3 Buttons Review

I still have the original ROKU remote for another TV and it has a range of at least 18 feet. This one (Gvirtue) is not very effective above 8ft. And even at that distance, you need to make sure the window receiving/transmitting the signal is at a certain angle to the receiver. That requires all sorts of moves, like signaling the next draw from the side! All of this was done with a new set of batteries.

This remote control was purchased to replace a remote control purchased to replace a remote control that was eaten by a dog. The one that replaces it won't let you search Amazon or YouTube without clipping the Sony Crackle. As every time several times.! As soon as I put batteries in, everything worked. I didn't even have to pair it with the Roku device. No more cutting problems. Works faster than any other remote I've ever used. Just push a button and you're there. I would buy this again.

I bought this remote to replace the original remote which my dog broke. It's good quality and works as soon as you put in a few batteries. The only thing I would have liked were soft rubber buttons, sometimes it's difficult to get an even pressure. I prefer hard plastic buttons. The signal range is also VERY limited. I had to place my Roku box in front of the TV and you have to be almost directly in front of it to pick up the signal. But otherwise it works great.

Can't get it to work with the existing ROKU stick we've had in the TV for 4 years. I've changed batteries, disconnected USB several times, and changed the adapter to an outlet several times, but there's no light on the remote end. can't tell if it really works. This remote does exactly what it says on the tin. Controls your Roku. It's very cheaply made, it's too light, it slips out of your hands, and you have to point this replacement remote "STRAIGHT" at your Roku. This is far from the true quality of the Roku remote. I bought it to replace my Roku 3 and it's ok. This remote is slow, you have to press all the buttons very hard to get a response from your Roku device.
