My friend's laptop screen was cracked and needed replacing. Getting a new laptop would be expensive, and this friend didn't just want to use the external video outs, which still worked fine. Replacing the screen was fairly easy, but I'm very tech savvy so the average user may have major problems. The laptop in question had the ability to easily lift off the lid, which is a great feature, but I don't know if this will be easy on other laptops. The instructions provided were a little vague but an internet search cleared things up. Image and video clarity is excellent, brightness is ok but not as bright as the original but just enough for my friends needs. Overall I would recommend this product to anyone looking to replace a cracked or broken laptop screen.
