Review on Stay Cozy with the Sunbeam Imperial Nights Queen Heated Blanket in Mushroom by Lily Ellison

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I'm warm and comfortable! LOVE this blanket!

I have never used an electric blanket. But it was 44-48 degrees in my bedroom and I had to do something. So I finally decided to try an electric blanket. My only regret? I HAVE NOT RECEIVED! I have to admit my "ignorance" at the beginning because I have read the instructions. . . . and I looked at the picture. . . and there was only one electric blanket on the bed and the instructions didn't say you can. . . or could not put another blanket over it. Well, therein lies the important information that will not be shared with you. I asked a friend of mine who has been using an electric blanket for years and he said YES, put another blanket on top to keep warm. . . . When I used the electric blanket alone, it really didn't work. . . because all the heat is gone. I would have to set it to the number "10" (highest heat setting) to stay warm enough. Well I have a duvet and I pull it on top and now I'm super warm and cozy! That's great! I usually have it number 2 or 3. I really like the "preheat" feature where you turn it on 30 minutes before bed and then the sheets/bed are nice and warm when you go to bed. PLEASE NOTE: The image is slightly misleading. It shows two controls. This only applies if you order Queen or King Size. I ordered the full and it only comes with one regulator which is fine as I'm not married. Also, it has a 10-hour limit, which I really like. There is a way to disable this feature if you don't like it, but personally I think it's a GREAT feature. The blanket is very similar to felt. To be honest, I don't know how long it will take. But because I have a leaf. . then an electric blanket. . . then a blanket over it, I hope it lasts quite a long time. The instructions also say it's washable.
