The chair is smaller than you might think. It's slim and compact. Not necessarily bad for us, but I would be concerned about tall guests. They will not comfortably accommodate anyone over 200 pounds. The label under the seat clearly says "glued leather". Genuine leather lasts 7-15 years while bonded leather can last 2-3 years with good care. I could have bought these chairs if I knew they were real leather and would last for several years but not at the price I paid. I have shown it in pictures. All four chairs are assembled. Assembly was quick and easy. I don't like the cheap felt buttons at the bottom of the legs. We should have bought some decent sliders to work on the dining room carpet. The pivoting action is smooth and the seat feels firm but comfortable enough for me. Still concerned about the weight limit because it doesn't set a limit anywhere. The description is clearly intentional and misleading. Chairs are dismantled, carefully packed and sent back.
