Review on Melling M22FHV Replacement Oil Pump by Marco Carpenter

I have ordered a Melling M22FHV for an Oldsmobile 455 I am building. The M22FHV is a larger displacement oil pump than the factory original, so if you intend to use one I would recommend a larger sump than the 5 liter factory originals found on most Oldsmobile 455s. I have to say the Melling is it really worth your products. After receiving my oil pump, the workmanship of the driveshaft pocket looked a little iffy. I emailed Melling a photo of the bag and received a reply from Melling the same day. The contact I dealt with also inquired about processing and asked for my address so he could send me a replacement oil pump. Received the replacement next week and am very happy with the oil pump replacement. It's a pleasure to work with an American company that really stands behind their products.
