Works but better second input

This is the second year we have successfully raised Monarch caterpillars in this exhibit! A few things I noticed: 1) It would be helpful to have a second zipper on the opposite side because as you can see some caterpillars prefer to hang their pupae on the zipper making it difficult for other caterpillars to get around it take care of. 2) The mesh floor gets really dirty from caterpillar droppings. I would recommend laying down a paper towel or something. 3) I was unable to take clear, detailed photos or video of the process through the case. Here, too, a second side with a zipper would be very practical. 4) We keep our aviary on a porch to protect the caterpillars from our pets and children, but we can still watch them through the glass door. It was a great option for us! 5) At the same time, we did not manage to keep the spurge alive in the aviary because it had too little sun. That's why we collect spurge from our garden and give it away fresh every day. Luckily, their very hungry caterpillar phase doesn't last long! Overall we are very happy with this aviary and it works well for us.
