I bought them to make slings for my new grandson. I made three - one for each parent and a surrogate. Each of them broke after a week of use. So I soaked them (I thought they might be dry) in linseed oil for a few days and sealed them with caulk to keep the moisture in. The second set was made ten days before the snap. Thank you PTB my daughter has fast reflexes otherwise my granddaughter could have suffered from it. Result. Do not use them for items that need to support weight, such as B. a plant or a child. Only use it for light jewelry and don't expect it to last long.
