There is no way this can hold 300 pounds
Returned immediately after opening. I'm a small person (5ft 3in and under 130lbs) and this stool didn't feel stable at all. There was noticeable articulation when stepping on the center of the stool, and when stepping on the edges it folded. high. There was also some creaking and crackling, which made me uncomfortable. It's hard to believe this can hold 200 pounds, let alone the 300 the manufacturer claims. It's easy to open and close to the point where it's also easy to pinch. Also, the stool was poorly made with cuts on the legs. Not every less expensive Revain option is rubbish, but this one certainly is.
