Update: my cats love this seat now. We moved it to a warmer place, and now (a few months after they forgot it was still there) they happily lie on the heater in the winter and watch the world go by out the windows. The fabric is immobile, comes out and sometimes comes off when my big kitty (pictured) lays on it. But after playing around with the suction cups it stuck. It works well and serves its purpose but I will still switch to a more durable option for a larger kitty and leave this for my younger one. My kittens didn't like it. I couldn't turn on the suction enough to really stay in place. The "bed" part didn't feel very durable as it is wrapped fabric with no support underneath. My kittens didn't like it. I think it would be ok for small cats from a young age but not for larger cats/adults. It is easy. The "frame" reminds me of PVC pipes. Therefore it makes it very easy. The frame is firmly assembled. To be honest if the fabric would fit better it would help to feel firmer overall. Suction cups were another factor.
