Review on Accutire Programmable Tire Pressure Gauge: Accurate, Convenient, and Smart by Scott Koeck

I have 2 Accutire gauges that are over 9 years old and still work great. I saw these new gauges and decided to buy 2 and give them away for Christmas. Bad move and now I'm so embarrassed when they tell me my presents are broken. Both sensors have the same defects. The first flaw is that the black rubber grip is devulcanized (soft/sticky). defective battery holder. So it doesn't work because 1 tab is missing that holds the battery. See picture with green circle. I will never buy an Accutire product again. I really don't like it when good companies get greedy and prioritize profit over quality.
