Light is bright enough for a closet but hardware leaves a lot to be desired. The mounting hardware doesn't even fit in a standard 4-inch round electrical ceiling box. You either have to use just one screw or drill an extra hole. The fixture does not fit snugly to the ceiling, leaving a gap of about 1/8 inch around it. and yes, my electrical box is in recesses in the drywall. The light fixture is smaller than the light fixture I removed so it doesn't cover up any unpainted or faded areas on the ceiling. but I can and will make a flange to get around it. I should have taken a closer look at the overall dimensions, so that's my fault. So me and misses are the only ones gonna see it.
