I used this to light some Japanese incense sticks I have and it works great! It takes about 8 seconds to fully ignite the wand and it gets the job done perfectly. the lighter is about 2 months old and i have had to charge it about 4 times (i burn a lot of incense sticks) but i don't let it charge all the time nor do i let it run out completely. in front of the shop. The instructions suggest not charging it after the light is off, which indicates it is fully charged. So when I notice that the little "on" light is a bit dimmed, I charge it for an hour. The lighter doesn't come with a charger which sucks but I use an old Kindle Fire 5V 1.0A charger and it works. Since I use an incense lighter, it tends to pick up debris around the electrodes, which can interrupt small arcs if it gets too bad, so I use 91% isopropyl alcohol on a cotton swab to remove the debris. I straighten the ends of the cotton swab a bit and slide the long part between the electrodes, this keeps the lighter nice and clean. I only let the lighter air out for a few minutes to allow the alcohol to evaporate before using it again. I would buy this again.
