I have many fermenters and tools but this one is solid, use it with Simply Sauer glass weights and you can't go wrong. I create a little vacuum first to remove the oxygen and when the fermentation is over I use the vacuum again to keep the evil out. This is perfect for removing some cabbage etc for flavor and then pulling the vacuum out which removes the oxygen as there is no longer producing CO2 to push the oxygen back out. I will definitely be buying more of these and glass weights. I also like the ability to see through the lid, which gives them a huge advantage over similar vacuum lids.
