UPDATED - So far so good.
I got this cage for my monarch caterpillars after an assassin bug killed several on my swamp milkweed. I moved 12 of them inside, and got this cage for the bigger caterpillars, so they didn't harm the little guys. So far it has worked well - the zipper has worked, the caterpillars have climbed to the top to form chrysalides, and I'm about to hang some chrysalides that formed in another container from the mesh roof. The mesh is very fine, which is good for keeping caterpillars in, and other bugs out. This is my first batch of caterpillars using this enclosure, so I cannot comment on how easy it will be to re-fold the enclosure, or how easy it is to clean with a diluted bl
