Review on Compression Connector Extension Connectors Security by Mohamed Greene

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Poor quality good for security and surveillance

Breaking rings. The only way to get them working is to pull out the metal ring and plastic sleeve first. Slide them down the coax cable. .Then push the plastic back into the connector after spreading the braided shield over the front of the plastic sleeve. Firmly insert the coaxial cable into the connector to hook the center conductor. Then insert the plastic sleeve and the metal ring behind it. Use a compression tool and rotate the plug a quarter turn from time to time to even out the compression around the hub. Otherwise the ring or the plastic will break. I will only use them in emergencies. Otherwise I buy expensive IDEALs, at least they work the first time.
