This is a well made sling. Outer fabric scores 7 out of 10 for durability. Lining - thin knit 5 out of 10. Inner panel Cannot be removed for washing, therefore the sling must be fully washed. Overall it looks high quality, good materials but not heavy duty. So I don't expect very long lasting. The only thing I have is a "seat belt" to secure your dog's collar. I don't like how it attaches because it places a metal clasp and ring next to your pet's face or chest. The seat belt is not adjustable and seems too short to our dog. But I have another idea that might work, so the seat belt is a minor issue and most dog owners won't use it at all.
