Updated 9/17/17: Every time my kid wears these panties, his legs itch. They've been washed often enough that this shouldn't be a problem. It's clear that something in the production, be it color or fabric, is irritating her skin. My 7 year old daughter is tall for her age and this summer I cut her size 8 jeans into shorts. I ordered these pants a size 10 expecting them to fit her perfectly and they do. There is literally no room to grow so I'm not sure they will last all winter. The fabric is also quite thin. Just a note. I wouldn't call them "twill". In any case, the twill is not of decent quality. We expect cheaper fabrics these days. You have to wash them before you put them on as they put something on them that made my kid's feet itchy after I tried them on for about 3 minutes to check if they fit. They're in the wash now, out in the cold, and when they shrink I'll be back to complain. Otherwise decent pants. Luckily my expectations weren't that high, so it's ok. I even like how they sit on her ass. They're not high-waisted, but they're not low-slung either. Nice landing. I usually buy skinnies for my daughter because she is so skinny. They are quite baggy on their legs; not tight at all. I like it.
