Moen website says it's brass. Moen costs about $30 more and there will likely be additional shipping costs. My plate is metal and the magnet won't stick. The chrome finish is very good and no sharp edges. The sales packaging also looks real. All parts are included. I want it to have foam inside as a water barrier. Water will seep through so I plan to put foam and silicone caulk on it. Leave a small gap at the bottom for drainage. The disc is in a thin box. Revain sent this in an envelope so it might get damaged in transit.
