It has almost everything you need. Clip, towels, gloves, needles and ring. You will need your own pen/marker. I disinfected everything with wipes, although they are already sterilized. Then I marked where to pierce. It was hard to find where to mark, but I just clicked on the piercing under the skin of my belly button and marked where I thought it would come out. Be careful not to mark too high or too low. Then I pressed the label. Usually you have to pierce from below, but when you do it yourself it's very difficult, so I pierced from above. Normally this would be a problem because you have to insert the ring from the whole needle, but here comes the next problem. The ring is the same as a needle, which means it can't go in. You should be able to insert the ring into the needle so that when you remove the needle the ring will already be in place. I was going insane thinking I just had my belly button pierced and I wouldn't even be able to get the end result. I even put the pin back in the hole twice after taking it out before realizing it didn't fit, thinking it was MY fault for not being able to get the ring in the hole. It was painful and probably something you shouldn't do. What I had to do was slide the piercing through the hole, which was very difficult because the hole was difficult to find. It added new pain that shouldn't have happened, but at least I got through it. I have a high pain tolerance but it made me dizzy. TIP: If you get pierced, don't hesitate like me. I was worried it would come out the other end too quickly and pierce my stomach, but don't worry, just breathe in and on the exhale, push AND KEEP PUSHING. And frankly, don't take this kit.
