My son is tall and skinny so it's hard to find clothes that won't float when he's little. I bought him a size 8. The length of the body and arms it covers and the torso is close to the body. I am so thrilled with this fit that I am online to order the next size up. While the quality looks superb I would NOT buy this for its big brother. He's not a green bean, and I think that coat fits snugly on his torso.
