Overall I am very happy with these shorts. They fit very well so if you have big quads you may need a very tight fit. I'm 23 inches at the hips and 16 inches just above the knee: there's room to grow, but not too much. A big plus is that the material is quite elastic. I also like that the pockets are zippered, which is new to me; First pair of running shoes with this feature and I will love them while running! The only real complaint I have is that 6 strings/strings had to be cut; two from each leg and 2 from the crotch. It doesn't bother me, except that the seams then unravel. I didn't check the strings inside as they are not visible.
