This game has been a hit with the family since the first game. I bought it so my wife and I could have some playtime at the park instead of watching the kids play. However, our 3 little boys came and wanted to play with us. It works well for children from 5 years old to adults. We let go of our 5 year old chopper as it was easier for her. Definitely get looks from strangers wondering what game it is. This is by far my favorite lawn game. In the end I painted over all the blocks because they were too light for me. However, we played 1 game and a kubb block was broken off 1/4 of the way from the corner. Hopefully it's still playable without changing the kubb. And a lot of ringing in other kubbs. However, many other people say the same thing about different types of wood. So I think that at some point if you just throw sticks at sticks, the destruction of the pieces is inevitable. Maybe I'll buy a second set at some point when it's damaged enough.
