Expensive but worth it

The best container for my first starter cultures (yes, more than one). I use 1qt and 2qt sizes. , and even installed a 2 liter lid on a 1 liter container. Works great for me. I "feed" 1qt 2+ times a day, then when I need a large batch of backstarter I throw away 2qt, feed it, wait a few hours and voila! I even make a starter in 2qt, then spread it out on parchment paper and dry it in a dehumidifier. Keep it in vacuum jars for long-term storage or put broken parts in a ziplock bag and send to friends/family.
