The best container for my first starter cultures (yes, more than one). I use 1qt and 2qt sizes. , and even installed a 2 liter lid on a 1 liter container. Works great for me. I "feed" 1qt 2+ times a day, then when I need a large batch of backstarter I throw away 2qt, feed it, wait a few hours and voila!
