I bought the 55" in silver rated 4.4 lb lock. Not only does it work properly, looks good and it will detour almost any Thief from trying to steal your ride. This lock it's plenty big and very strong and tough. The gold rated one may be Overkill where it's almost 10 pounds and takes up a ton of room. The 55"in plenty big enough to lock up a couple of electric scooters or bikes. Perfect size for me. This lock makes the most sense unless you leave your ride in an area that's known for having a lot of thefts. Both locks will take heavy equipment and some time to get through. I believe this lock will last a long time how sturdy and well built it is. I recommend silver rated for most people.
