Review on Laplink High Speed Transfer Cable PCmover by Jerry Forehand

Cable worked fine but software did not install. The support was fantastic, they took over the computer, installed the patches and got Laplink up and running. In hindsight, I would have just moved the files and loaded the software onto a new computer instead of transferring them with Laplink - I keep my files in my documents folder, most of the software I use is subscription based so it's available online, and I had some problems transferring software that didn't download properly and had to be removed from the download site before downloading again. But in general, the cable worked as shown in the picture - a kind of electric potato peeler, which is not necessary if you know how to peel potatoes or how to move files and reinstall software.
