I use Mason jars for dry storing, freezing and refrigerating various things and the plastic lids are much more convenient than the two piece metal lids used for canning. These lids are perfect for my needs. The bright colors are a nice bonus as I've only seen them in white so far. They're dishwasher safe and come out nice and clean (and not warped). They fit in my jars and seal well and add some color to my pantry too. I haven't tested them for leaks but I suspect they aren't 100% liquid tight so use caution when transporting things that could leak. The photo I've attached shows a jar of freshly made grape jelly being kept in the fridge. I bought 2 sets of these caps and will definitely buy them again in the future.
