A must have budget tool for detailing or used car buying

I paint cars, detail cars, mechanics and help family and friends with their used car purchases. This little tool isn't perfect, but it will get the job done. Great value for money for a tool used to determine if a car has been in an accident. The factory finish is very different from the body finish. So check the thickness at various spots on each panel and if it's a lot thicker in some spots then you know it's been repainted at least there. not necessarily from the rubble. But you can dig a little more and see if there was structural damage nearby, or if it was just a door repair or a bad scratch repair. Also helps with car detailing to ensure there is enough clear coat to fill in the area to repair the scratch. If not, know that you may have to remove it with a clear mix to avoid ruining the primer.
