One of my absolute favorite sneakers from the early 80's when I grew up around adidas superstars and suede cougars. No, they don't look identical to those from the 70's and 80's, they used to look a lot better, the hard look on the bottom looked more solid and even the whole outsole was thicker, and if you compare their photos with vintage samples. the nike swoosh logo on the side of the shoe looked much better, these new models look boring, as curvy as the ones from before and the blue or from before was prettier, also the suede on the front and back was darker and faded than the nylon part, which gave them the best look and if you look closely at the vintage models from the side they look boring and ordinary while the old models from the side looked like a sneaky shark. would like to see from the side, just beautiful, wish they made them like they used to, but still a beautiful shoe, and please order half a size larger, nike cortez always runs small, everyone in my house has them, wife, kids and all needed half as much.
