I recently bought a computer and chose the Radeon 5700XT and immediately noticed that the GPU gets very hot. I decided to play around with the software on the fan settings but found that it bounced very often and had some crashes which I can attribute to setting changes. This overheating issue causes GPU performance to drop when I reach around 77-78C. I chose this fan to see if it could solve the problem until AMD can fix their software and correct the fan settings. I will say that this fan cooled my GPU by 7-10°C both idle and under load. They combine that with some cool RGB lighting that works great with the other lights in the case and I'm very happy with that. I've read that others had installation issues, but I have a large case and had no trouble installing or plugging it in and getting it working. Would recommend to anyone struggling with elevated temperatures on their GPU as it helps extend card life to run in cooler temperatures.
