Review on πŸ‘’ Ladies Flex Sport Field Boot by Ovation by Robert Correa

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Look great, fit well, but.

On the outside these boots are great. I like the combination of dressage and field boots (not full mud boots, but not very representative either), which suits me very well. They fit perfectly on the leg, no problem (size 8), they are a little tight in the calves, just be careful with the zipper, the zipper tore my breeches because it was such a tight contact. While I don't have this problem when riding, when I walk the leather folds fold in towards my heel and rub against them, even though my tights and riding socks cover that part of my skin which is ridiculous! Beware! Finally, my biggest problem: THESE BOOTS ARE REALLY HIGH. Honestly if they were an inch or even half an inch shorter they would be perfect. They occur just behind the knee, and if you want to bend your knee to 45 degrees (which you should be able to do while riding), you're probably cutting off blood flow to your leg. They're probably just stiff and will take a few weeks to break in properly, but fair warning to little girls: these boots are big! As for the price, I'd say it's a little high given the two issues with the trunk. I would say the price would have been fairer at $120 than at $170. Overall I really like these boots but there are 2 main points that cannot be ignored, bear this in mind prospective buyers.
