Plug and play as they say. My blush had a 10 amp outlet and a 15 amp fuse on the back. While I had the panels open I tried to see if it would blow the car's factory 10 amp fuse and it didn't work. I assembled everything and tested several times with no problems. This saves me from running a cable to the battery, which I didn't want to do anyway. Keep in mind that the lights I use are magnetically attached trailer lights for towing whatever I want to tow. So a trailer with lots of lights could blow the factory 10 amp fuse, unless of course you use LED lights which use a lot less energy.
