At $50 (15 inch version) I am very disappointed in this product. It's built fairly well for a base, but the cutting arm is bolted to relatively flimsy plastic at the bottom. a hinge that allows it to flex while cutting, causing distortion instead of cutting the paper when trying to cut more than 3-4 sheets of paper. When cutting, you need to push against the handle, try to keep the blade straight, and press down on the paper with your other hand as best you can to get a reasonably straight cut. Additionally, the same piece of plastic that the blade attaches to at the hinge allows the blade to go up about 60 degrees, which means it falls down about 45 degrees. while trying to set up the cutting paper. Not comfortable and not very safe. You should always hold the blade with your shoulder or something else while preparing the cut. I do not recommend buying this product. It desperately needs a new design and is absolutely not worth the purchase price.
