X-ACTO Heavy Duty 15" Guillotine Trimmer I purchased this in February 2018 and found that the lines you see in the advert pictures , centimeters are. Wait, there's more. Inch measurements are points and accurate to 1/8th of an inch. This is the first guillotine trimmer to have accurate measurement at this level. Cuts well to the handle. Nice to use. At $50 (15 inch version) I am very disappointed in this product. It's built fairly well for a base, but the cutting arm is bolted to relatively flimsy plastic at the bottom. a hinge that allows it to flex while cutting, causing distortion instead of cutting the paper when trying to cut more than 3-4 sheets of paper. When cutting, you need to push against the handle, try to keep the blade straight, and press down on the paper with your other hand as best you can to get a reasonably straight cut.
