The 4 inch steel roller fits perfectly on the front of my huge welder which weighs over 800 pounds. just as wide. These wheels roll easily and appear to be very well constructed (this is made by the metal fabricator). The concrete floor underneath this machine is very rough and uneven and they still move relatively easily. I used 10" wheels mounted on a 1" wheel. a shaft for the rear, which also helped as the rear wheels used to be smaller too. They were more expensive than what I was hoping for for this project, but the local shops and metal supplier didn't have a 4" wheel. all steel wheels, and after seeing how well the project turned out, he justified his price.
