Beautiful lamp. However, I was a little disappointed that the glass shade is whiter and more translucent than the softer beige/cream colors I was expecting. I did not notice the indication of the location of the switch for this lamp in the description of the product on the network. The switch is not on the lamp, but on the lamp cord about 13 inches, which is not very convenient for turning the light on and off. The lamp was packaged very well and arrived safely and undamaged. Also neatly packaged with the lamp was a small 1 inch square of green glass. I have no idea what this piece of glass is for and it is not mentioned in the assembly instructions which are very well written/illustrated and easy to follow.
